BLOSO Brugge: topsporthal

Extension of a public sports complex in Brugge (Bruges, Belgium). No interior renderings where shown to the public, only a bird's eye image and some facts and figures, so I decided to design the inside myself. The new building, that is currently under construction (completion by the end of 2012), while contain a large multisports hall (52 by 36m) with fixed and retractable seating for up to 2,500 spectators, a 10m high climbing wall, a fitness centre and smaller halls for boxing and martial arts. It turns out now the orientation of the sports hall inside the new building (north-south, with the small halls facing the velodrome) will be different from my design (east-west), something I couldn't tell from the bird's eye rendering and released information.

- vaste en uitschuifbare tribunes voor in totaal 2500 toeschouwers, toegankelijk vanaf de eerste verdieping;
- netto oppervlakte van de zaal: 52m op 36m;
- hoogte 10m;
